Field modifications are straightforward. Small penetrations for pipes and cables can simply be drilled or hole-sawn and sealed, with negligible impact on panel strength. For larger openings, such as for vents or sockets, the structural principle is that the load around the opening must find a new path to the supports. We provide standard reinforcement details: using structural adhesive to bond a reinforcing frame (typically of the same material) inside the cutout’s perimeter, effectively creating a header and sill that transmits forces around the weakened area.
