Standard polymer foams are transparent to radio waves (great for radomes, bad for electronics shielding). However, there are specialty Syntactic Foams and Coated Foams. These are foams filled with hollow glass or carbon microspheres, or foams coated with nickel/copper conductive paint. They provide lightweight structural support and prevent electrical noise from escaping the enclosure.
